After trip to Melbourne, two of my friends who traveled with me left Australia. We had a farewell party for them. I really don’t like saying good-bye but I need to be used to it I realized. While I’m here, I need to say bye again and again. I felt so sad. However, one of my friends said to me ‘Saying good-bye doesn’t mean you lose your friends. Even though they go back to their countries, they are still your friends. Also you are in Australia, but you gained many friends all over the world. How lucky you are! You should feel happy!!’
So now I’m not afraid of saying see you. I believe that I can meet them again.
Hi Yumi
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely post and you are right: although it is difficult saying goodbye, it doesn't mean goodbye forever and you will still be able to stay in contact via social media and hopefully get to see all your new friends again somewhere around the world!
All the best in EAP I and for the IELTS test.
